Basics are one of the most important pieces to have in your closet. Yes, we all love those unique blouses and pretty dresses but that's not what you "throw on" on a daily basis. There are lots of stores that sell a huge amount of basic pieces such as forever21 or H&M and those places are great for a lot of things. But, when you're looking for those closet staples that are GOOD quality and last for a long time and are super comfortable then I love to look at Nordstrom. I bought this shirt last year during the Nsale in black and white striped, but I just had to get it in this beautiful army green color. This shirt is one that is so perfect to wear now, to wear in the fall and to wear in the winter. I love pairing it now with shorts and later I'll wear with jeans, vests, scarves and cardigans. I love how snug the sleeves are and the material is so super soft. This brand runs super big from Nordstrom, so I got an XS but I could've gotten away with an XXS as well.

Just remember to size down one or two sizes. This top also comes in multiple colors and it's the perfect piece to keep in your closet because I promise you will throw it on all the time the next couple months.
